Photographer and model
I was born in Brazil, spent my childhood in Portugal and my teenage years in Brazil. My mother is Japanese and my father is Portuguese, and these roots stay with me at every new stage. At 28, I returned to Portugal; now, at 29, I'm starting a new chapter in a country that is also part of my story.
My journey brings together photography and modelling. Over the years, I've developed my own approach on both sides of the camera: as a photographer, through framing, light and the moment; as a model, through expression, posture and movement.
These two perspectives complement each other. Being in front of the camera helps me think about the experience of the people I photograph; being behind it makes me pay closer attention to the presence and details that give an image its strength. This exchange gives me room to experiment and develop my visual language.
Outside photography, I enjoy sports, healthy eating and music, mainly rock and heavy metal
